Cross-disciplinary collaboration with Estela Sanchis, an artist from Valencia.

Estela and I will present an artist book containing prints of my visual art paired with collaborative stories.

We will also create two installations as part of our residency.

The first installation takes places at the Open Studio on August 15th and will feature myself, Estela, and local percussionist Zoltan Borsos collaborating in a sound, story, and motion improvisation.

The second installation takes place at the Final Exhibition on August 23rd and will feature an interactive event, “Crash and Burn”. Here Estela and I explore the intersections of visual art, sound art, and improvisation. This is a fully immersive experience with the audience, who are incorporated into the “orchestra”, “performers”, and spell-makers.
